I provide financial planning for business owners and high-net-worth clients, with particular emphasis on estate and income planning. I earned my BS in Human Resource Management from New School University and hold my CFP® designation. What drew me to this field was straightforward. I enjoy helping people, and I enjoy finances, so combining the two made perfect sense.
What truly energizes my work is learning about people, hearing their stories, and helping them pursue their goals. Business owners particularly interest me because their situations present complex needs that require creative problem-solving. I've also developed specialized knowledge in a relatively new field serving individuals who receive royalty-based income, including college athletes who can now be compensated for their likeness in video games and other media. This emerging area requires education and strategic guidance that most advisors are not yet providing.
Growing up in Portland, Oregon, shaped my love for the outdoors. I spent countless hours riding my bike along the 205 freeway with Mt. Hood visible on the horizon, creating memories that still influence how I live today. I now call Port Ludlow, Washington home, where the friendly community and wonderful trails throughout the village create an ideal environment.
My wife Cheryl and I have been married for 31 years. We have two great daughters, Katelyn and Breana, who form my core support group. They keep me grounded and remind me what matters most.
Outside of work, I stay active through boating, hiking, and watching football, particularly Seahawks games. Community involvement remains important to me. I serve on the board of the Ludlow Village Players, which helps kids with art scholarships, and on the board of Port Ludlow Performing Arts, which provides scholarships for children to rent instruments and join school bands. These organizations reflect my belief in supporting the next generation's creative development.
